Qualifications 

To appear in this exam it is necessary to pass the 12th standard but in 12th the main or additional subject should be biology. 

NEET Exam Syllabus

NEET Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

There were some changes in the NEET exam pattern last year but the mode of exam and marking scheme remained the same. In this exam, 45 questions were always asked from each subject and each question carried 4 marks. But last year the sectioning was the major change in the question paper. 

Sectioning means 2 sections were made for each subject, the first section had 35 questions, which were compulsory, but in the second section, 15 questions were given out of which only 10 were to be attempted. This table will help you to learn more about last year’s question paper pattern:

NEET exam is usually held in May month but due to the Covid-19 period last year (2021), the exam was held on 12 September. The NEET-UG 2022 Answer key PDF is available on the day of the exam itself, but these answer keys are published unofficially by the coaching institutes. The NTA may publish NEET-UG Answer Keys 2022 after 2 to 3 weeks of the exam. On this answer-key, candidates can challenge questions with 1000 INR per question.

NEET-UG Counselling

After the declaration of results NEET-UG Counselling is the next step to enroll in a medical college. NEET-UG Counselling can be categorized into the following 2 parts:

• AIQ (All India Quota) Counselling: this category contains 15% seats and is conducted by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee).
• State Level Counselling: this category contains the rest 85% of seats and is conducted by respective states.

The NEET-UG Counselling includes 2 rounds and an additional round with the name Mop-up round.

NEET 2022 Age Limitations

If you are 17 years old or more than 17 years then you can fill out the application form i.e. the lower NEET 2022 Age Limitations is 17 years but there is no upper age limit.
