National Startup Day 2024
Startup India was a campaign initiated by the Department for Industrial Policy and Promotion (DPIIT) on 16 January 2016 with the clear objective of nurturing and building a strong startup ecosystem in the country.
To embark on this important day, on 16th January 2021, it was announced that this momentous day will be commemorated as the National Startup Day every year to encourage young innovators and help them in every possible way including expert guide plus funding.
National Startup Day Festival 2024
In remembrance of National Startup Day, there is a festival organized every year to encourage budding entrepreneurs. National Startup Day Festival Week 2023 was organized from 10th January – 16th January by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade while National Startup Day Festival 2024 will be organized on 16th January 2024 by the DPIIT associated with International Brand Equity which will be held in Bengaluru.
The convenor of the International Brand Equity Kumar Saurabh said – “With the National Startup Day Festival, we hope to spotlight India’s bright minds and innovators, further strengthening our position as a global startup hub. Our aim is to inspire, guide, and support the next generation of entrepreneurs.”
The event will be attended by various startup enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, investors, venture capitalists, etc. An award ceremony will also held on this National Sartup Day Festival to recognize and honor the efforts of budding entrepreneurs in India.
