Supriya Paul career as an entrepreneur started On 6 April 2014, Josh Talks organized its first event at Air Force Bal Bharti Auditorium in Dhaula Kuan, Delhi. This was the time when her father sat in the first row at the event and stayed till the last, seeing his young daughter putting so much effort into her new startup, he changed his mind and started supporting her. Her father was shocked and very proud of his young daughter.
Organizing an event is not an easy task, it requires money. Initially, they did not get any investors, the speakers were taking them for granted because of their young age. But Supriya and Shobhit did not back down. Shobhit sold his cycle to fund his startup.
In the year 2016, Josh Talks Leap was organized and more than 6000 people attended the event.
2017 was the year when Josh Talks took a big step toward growth. Josh Talks moved online to reach more people. Josh Talks Hindi launched in October 2017 with other regional languages including Marathi, Punjabi, Telugu, English, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam, etc. As of now 2023, Josh Talks has a total of 12 YouTube channels for different languages.
