The founders of LittleBox presented their business model and products to the Sharks and asked for Rs 75 Lakh in exchange for 1% equity in their business. All the sharks were too impressed with the founders and their entrepreneurial zeal.
The first offer was given by Aman Gupta which was Rs 50 lakh for 2% equity and the rest of the Rs 25 lakh on debt at a 12% interest rate for 2 years. Namita Thapar’s offer was Rs 30 lakh for 0.5% equity and the rest of Rs 45 lakh on 2% royalty until Rs 90 lakh is recouped, Vineeta Singhs’ offer was 75 lakh for 2% equity, Amit Jains’ offer was Rs 50 lakh for 1% equity and the rest of the Rs 25 lakh on debt at a 12% interest rate for 2 years, and Anupam Mittal’s offer was Rs 75 lakh for 1% equity along with 2% royalty until Rs 1.125 Crore is recouped.
After a shower of revised offers and counteroffers, LittleBox finally closed the deal with all the 5 Sharks for Rs 75 lakh and diluted 2.5% equity.
