Gud Gum was founded by two brothers Mayank B. Nagori and Bhuvan Nagori in 2022 when they realized that the other chewing gums existing in the market are just plastic. We chew and through it anywhere that ultimately causes harm to the Planet which is definitely not a good thing at all.

Whether chewing gum is a very small piece but tiny steps solve the bigger problem, hence the Nagori brothers launched completely plastic-free, fully biodegradable, and 100% natural ingredients.

Founders of Gud Gum

Mayank B. Nagori and Bhuvan Nagori are the founders of Gud Gum. Mayank completed his Bachelor of Engineering from the B. M. S. College of Engineering in Chemical Engineering in 2016, then he pursued his Master’s Degree in Food Production Management from the University of Nottingham in 2017. Mayank worked in various food industries including Merhaki Foods and Nutrition, Lo! Foods, Tea Potions, Skoosh – Sip Pop Chew, etc.

His entrepreneurial journey started with his first venture Qrackpots in 204 where they used to arrange quiz competitions. In January 2020, Mayank co-founded The Soft Corner, a food & beverage brand serving fresh ice cream. After a few months, he and his brother Bhuvan launched Pani Foods, a kind of custom-made Instant food service. Both brands are also currently in operation along with Gud Gum which was established in 2022 by the Nagori brothers.

Bhuvan Nagori completed his Bachelor of Business Administration from Christ University, Bangalore in 2020 and joined his brother in Pani Foods as a Co-founder.

Gud Gum on Shark Tank India Season 3 episode streamed on 5 February 2024. The founders presented their products to the Sharks and all of them were too impressed with them. They asked for Rs 50 lakh in exchange for 5%. The first offer was given by Aman Gupta and that was Rs 50 lakh for 5% equity along with 5% royalty until 50 lakh is recouped, Anupam joined him in this offer with 10% equity.

After discussion, Ritesh also joined this offer while Vineeta Singh has also given the same offer of 5% equity and thus joined 3 of them. So Aman, Anupam, Ritesh, and Vineeta offered Rs 80 Lakh for 10% equity along with 5% royalty until 80 lakh is recouped and the deal is sealed with this offer but at 4% royalty.
