The founders of Elitty Beauty are Vailina Tulsani and Pranali Janbandhu. The founder and CEO, Vailina Tulsani studied at CBSE Sophia Senior Secondary School. She completed her Bachelor of Technology in Textile Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. She also studied Management at the Indian School of Business.

Vailina has worked at several companies in different positions including Deloitte, Boston Analyst, McKinsey & Company, LODHA Group, etc. She has also done a 2 months internship at CarDekho. She started her entrepreneurial journey in 2020 when she founded Alluvium Retail. After that, her next stoppage was Elitty Beauty.

The founder and CMO, Pranali Janbandhu Mount Carmel Convent High School then enrolled at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere to pursue her Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Telecommunication which she completed in 2012. She has also studied Master of Business Administration at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta which she completed in 2016.

Pranali started her professional career with Cognizant Technology Solutions as an engineer trainee. After that, while studying MBA, she did a 3 months internship at L’Oréal and worked for around 5 years at different positions and left the company as a Brand Manager to join Purplle.com as a Senior Brand Manager. She joined hands with Vailina in 2022 as a co-founder of Elitty Beauty.

Elitty Beauty Shark Tank India Season 3 episode streamed on 5 February 2024. The founders of Elitty presented their products to the Sharks and they were all impressed with them. They asked for Rs 1 Crore in exchange for 4% equity. The only offer given by Anupam Mittal was Rs 1 Crore for 15% equity on which the founders countered for 6% but Anupam was not ready for that.

Vailina Tulsani and Pranali Janbandhu took a minute and discussed. They again asked Anupam if he could be on board with 9% equity but Anupam refused and thus they could not lock a deal.
