Neha Sharma and Sowmya Jagannath are the founders of Vobble, the first audio-OTT platform for kids. They have also appeared on Shark Tank India Season 3 to promote their brand and raise some funds to grow their business.

Neha Sharma completed her Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology in 2005 and then she enrolled at the University of Delhi to pursue her Master Of Business Administration in Marketing in 2007 which she completed in 2009.

Right after completing her MBA, she joined Unilever as an Area Sales Manager in April 2009 and then left in October 2012 to join PepsiCob as a Marketing Manager. She worked there for 10 months and then joined DuPont as a Business Development Manager. She left this company in February 2015 to join EssilorLuxottica. Neha worked at EssilorLuxottica for 7 years and 7 months in different positions and then left in August 2022 to start Vobble.

Sowmya Jagannath completed her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan in 2009. In 2010, she also earned an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research and Management. Sowmya also did a one-year Digital Marketing Course in 2015. In 2021, she enrolled in the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design, and Technology to pursue her Master of Design which she completed in June 2023.

In 2010, she joined Wockhardt Ltd. as an International Clinical Research Associate and then left in 2012. In 2013, she joined Floh and left this company in 2015 to join Rustcraft Digital. She worked till December 2017. Sowmya has been the Book Author at Lady Limerick since 2019.

Neha Sharma is serving Vobble as the CEO while Sowmya Jagannath is serving the company as the CPO.

Vobble Shark Tank Business Deal

Vobble on Shark Tank India Season 3 episode aired on 6 March 2024. The founders of Vobble presented their business model, products, and vision to the Shark and they were all very impressed with the idea as it can reduce kids’ screen time. They asked for Rs 25 lakh in exchange for 1.5% equity.

The only offer was given by Namita Thapar which was Rs 25 lakh in exchange for 5% equity. The founder gave a counteroffer which was for 2% equity in which 0.5% equity will be advisory. So Vobble locked the deal with Namita Thapar for Rs 25 lakh for 2% equity.
