Founders of Decode Age
Parth Amin (CEO), Darshit Patel (Chief Science Officer), and Rakesh Somani are the founders of Decode Age, India’s first longevity research company. Parth completed his schooling at Lancers Army School and then attended N.V. Patel College of Pure And Applied Sciences to pursue his Engineering from 2009 – 2012. In 2013, he founded City Broadband and served the company till 2019 as a Director.
In 2018, he joined the South Gujarat Information Technologists Association as a Part-time Director. Parth is also the co-founder of Wowl Cloud Ops LLP established in December 2019. Parth Amin has been the CEO of Decode Age since November 2020.
Darshit Patel completed his Bachelor of Science at Fergusson College in Chemistry and also attended Bharati Vidyapeeth to pursue his Post Graduation in Bioinformatics. In 2018, Darshit attended Edinburgh Napier University to pursue his Master of Science in Drug Design and Biomedical Science. He was the visiting lecturer at Bharati Vidyapeeth and later served the institute as the Associate Faculty. Darshit Patel is the Chief Science Officer at Decode Age.
Rakesh Somani has been the Director of Sumicot Limited since 2013 and still serving in this position while he is also the co-founder of Decode Age.

Decode Age Shark Tank Business Deal
Decode Age on Shark Tank India Season 3 episode streamed on 8 February 2024. The founders presented their business and product to the Sharks and asked for Rs 1 Crore in exchange for 1.25% equity. Anupam gave them an offer which was Rs 1 Crore in exchange for 2.5% equity along with 1% royalty until Rs 1.5 Crore is recouped.
The founders made a counteroffer to eliminate the royalty as the business is not profitable as of now and asked for Rs 1 Crore in exchange for 1.75% equity. Anupam stuck to his royalty offer but delayed the royalty for 6 months and reduced equity. So the deal was locked at Rs 1 Cr for 2.25% equity along 1% royalty until Rs 1 Crore is recouped.
