Aarti Laxman Rastogi and Sumit Rastogi are the founders of Artinci and also appeared on Shark Tank India Season 3 to promote their brand and raise some funds for the survival of their business.

Aarti Rastogi completed her PGDBM at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management in Human Resources in 2001. From March 2001 to July 2017, she worked at different companies including Citigroup Global Services, Accenture, Gulf Petrochem FZC, etc. at different positions. She was so dedicated to dessert making and thus she kept learning to make sugar-free and tasty desserts so that not only her diabetic family members could freely eat desserts but each person could.

She established Artinci Artisanal Foods in 2017 with the help of a small funding from her husband Sumit Rastogi.

Sumit joined Artinci Artisanal Foods in February 2021 as a co-founder and chief advisor. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Electronics at Delhi University in 1998 and then enrolled in the K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies for  Post Graduate Program in Management Studies which he completed in 2001.

Before joining Aarti in Artinci, he worked at several companies including Synovate, Idea Cellular, Wipro E Peripherals, Nielsen, Snipp Interactive, etc.

Artinci Shark Tank Business Deal

Artinci on Shark Tank India Season 3 episode aired on 21 February 2024. The founders of Artinci presented their business and products to the Sharks and asked for Rs 50 Lakh in exchange for 1.25% equity. Vineeta Singh gave them an offer under some conditions (one of them was the founders had to rebrand their business as Artinci is not suitable according to her) which was Rs 50 Lakh for 10% equity.

The founders gave them a counteroffer and the deal was sealed which Rs 50 Lakh for 5% equity along with % royalty until Rs 75 Lakh is recouped.
