Founders Of AeroLeap

Aman Rai, Anurag Dani, and Rohit Patel are the co-founders of AeroLeap. They also appeared on Shark Tank India Season 3 to promote their brand and raise some funds in exchange for equity in their business.

Aman Rai completed his schooling at Delhi Public School & Sri Sankara Vidyalaya, Bhilai in 2014 and then enrolled at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi to pursue his Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering in 2014 which he completed in 2018.

Aman started his professional career journey at GSK Consumer Healthcare India in June 2018 and left the company in April 2020 to join Unilever. He worked at Unilever for 1 year and then left for Urban Company in April 2021.

Anurag Dani completed his schooling at Delhi Public School, Bhilai, and then enrolled at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi to pursue his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in 2014 which he completed in 2018.

In August 2018, he joined PropertyPistol.com and left in July 2019 to join drivebuddyAI in Data Analytics and Machine Learning. He left this company in October 2019.

Rohit Patel also completed his schooling in 2014 at Delhi Public School, Bhilai. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering and a minor in robotics at the India Institute of Technology, Delhi in 2018.

In November 2018, he joined Nymble as a Mechanical Design Engineer and started his professional career but left the company in March 2020 to start AeroLeap.

In February 2020, Aman Rai, Anurag Dani, Rohit Patel, and Amal George founded AeroLeap to revolutionize the fitness industry. Amal George left the company in January 2024 and joined MathWorks as a software engineer.

AeroLeap on Shark Tank India Season 3 episode aired on 21 February 2024. The founders of AeroLeap presented their home gym machine to the Sharks and they were all very impressed with the idea and product they had created. They asked for Rs 1 Crore for 2.5% equity.

The first offer was given by Amit Jain and Azhar Iqubal which was Rs 50 Lakh for 2% and Rs 50 lakh on debt at 12% interest rate for 3 years. Another offer was given by Anupam Mittal which was Rs 1 Crore for 4% equity under the condition that they have to promote it in the domestic physiotherapy market and Peyush also joined him in this offer.

After much discussion and counteroffers from both sides, finally, the deal was sealed with all 4 sharks Amit, Azhar, Anupam, and Peyush for Rs 1 Crore for 5% equity.
