He asked for Rs 50 Lakh in exchange for 2% equity. All the Sharks were too impressed by the entrepreneurial zeal of the founder and wanted to connect with him but could not because of the lack of clarity in his vision and future planning.
Aman Gupta was the only one who gave him an offer which was Rs 10 Lakh for 10% equity and the rest of the Rs 40 lakh on debt at a 12% interest rate for 2 years but Devesh was not comfortable with debt so he made a counter offer which was 50 lakh for 10% equity. With this Aman was not comfortable so the deal was locked for Rs 10 Lakh for 10% equity along with Rs 40 lakh on 3% royalty until Rs 40 lakhs is recouped.
