EcoBiotraps Shark Tank India Season 3
Eco Bio Traps is a kind of system developed intending to break the mosquito breeding chain so that the rate of hazardous diseases like Dengue and Malaria can be decreased. The founders of Eco Bio Traps presented their product and vision to the Sharks and they were all very excited about the business and product.
Eco Bio Inc. was incorporated in 2017 with the clear objective of saving the lives of citizens from mosquito-borne diseases. They have developed a product Eco Bio Traps which is a bucket-like structure. All you have to do is fill the bucket with water and place it away from the direct or indirect contact of sunlight. An attractant is placed in the tool that attracts female mosquitoes to lay eggs by providing them with a mimicked mosquito breeding ground. Another pouch contains certain ingredients to make sure that the eggs do not grow into adults and hence we could break the chain of Mosquito breeding.
This is an essential step because mosquitoes breed so rapidly. A female mosquito’s life span is only 15-30 days but it could lay 500 – 1000 eggs in this short life. EcoBiotraps on Shark Tank India might be a breakthrough solution to this problem.
