Founders Of Matri
Roni Mondal and Rohan Roy are the founders of Matri, an electronic device manufactured to Switch off Period Pain. They have also appeared on Shark Tank India Season 3 to promote Matri and raise some funds in exchange for equity in their business.
Roni Mondal completed his schooling at Howrah Zilla School and then enrolled in the West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata to pursue a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering in 2016 which he completed in 2020. In 2021 he pursued a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management which he completed in 2023.
He was also the founder and CEO of Boitoi which he started in 2019 but closed in 2022. Silifarm Technologies was started during his graduation in May 2020. As of now, he is the co-founder and CEO of Silifarm Technologies.
Rohan Roy also attended Howrah Zilla School and then enrolled in the West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata to pursue a Bachelor of Technology in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation in 2017 which he completed in 2021.
He started his full-time career at Incubation Centre IIT Patna in 2018. The incubation of Silifarm was started here in 2018. As of now, he is the co-founder and Director of Silifarm.

Matri Shark Tank Business Deal
Matri on Shark Tank India Season 3 episode aired on 21 February 2024. The innovators of Matri presented their product to the Sharks and they were all very impressed with them and the product as well. They asked for Rs 60 lakh in exchange for 4% equity.
The first offer was given by Anupam Mittal which was Rs 60 lakh in exchange for 10% equity and Namita Thapar matched this offer. Vineeta Singh offered for 6% equity while Aman Gupta for 4% of what they asked for. Ritesh Agarwal offered Rs 1 Crore for 4% equity.
The founders took a minute and talked to Ranodeep Saha, the founder of Rare Planet appeared in the previous season of Shark Tank. After consulting with him, they asked Namita Thapar if she could let Aman Gupta join the deal. Matri closed the deal with Pharma Queen Namita Thapar and Aman Gupta which was Rs 60 Lakh for 4% equity.
