Over 45 products of Jif Peanut butter are recalled for the investigation.
FAD and CDC are also investigating for this case.
But why this investigation is taking place?
Because there are about 14 cases of Salmonella are reported…
Which are the result of consuming Jif peanut butter products.
Out of them, 2 are hospitalised.
Salmonella is a bacteria that causes diarrhea, nausea, fever, and abdominal cramps.
Consumers, restaurants, and retailers are told to not sell any recalled product of Jif.
Salmonella cases are being reported in about 12 states are as follows:
Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina, New York, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
Health officials raised the possibility that the outbreak could be expanding.
So do not use recalled products at all and stay healthy.
