When you opened Google today, did you notice Google Doodle? Google has put a new Doodle to give tribute to the little girl Anne Frank.
But who is Anne Frank? Why did google put her story in Google Doodle? We’ll share the complete story here.
When World War 2 started, Anne Frank was just a 10-year-old girl. She was living with her family in Germany.
Due to World War II, her family moved to the Netherlands to secure themselves.
Her family kept hiding for 25 months, in this time she had nothing but just a diary.
She wrote her feeling in that diary, she wrote about her dreams and fears in that diary.
She titled the story: “Het Achterhuis” (“The Secret Annex”).
She and her family were found by the Nazis on 4 Aug 1994. They were forced to do hard labor.
She suffered from a serious illness due to cruelty, and she left the world when she was just 15 years old.
After World War ended, Anne’s father published her diary. The story became the most widely read work.
Anne’s story is translated into 80 languages and used in classrooms to educate the children that wars are not good.
Today is the day when the diary was published 75 years ago. That’s why Google Doogle shows that story.
Let's Thank Anne Frank for sharing her angle to see the world.
