Pakistan Banned Wikipedia, Know The Shocking Reason

Pakistan government banned Wikipedia on the 3rd of February.

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority took this step, and here is the reason.

PTA asked Wikipedia to remove some content from the platform on 1st February.

PTA gave 48 hours to Wikipedia to remove that particular content.

Wikipedia did not respond to PTA, and for that reason Pakistan Telecommunication Authority decided to ban Wikipedia.

After the ban, Wikipedia responded that the content on the platform is published by the users and Wikipedia does not have any control over it.

Well, Pakistan also banned YouTube once, and Pakistan removed the ban on YouTube in 2016.
