Dr. Mario Molina was a Mexican chemist, born on 19 March 1943.

Mario Molina’s father was a lawyer and diplomat and his mother was a family manager.

When he was 11, Mario realized that he loves chemistry. His aunt Ester Mario helped him to explore more.

Mario Completed his primary and secondary education in Mexico and then went to Switzerland for further study.

Dr. Molina was one of the first scientists who discovered that chlorofluorocarbons were depleting the ozone layer.

This research shocked the world and around 100 ozone-depleting chemicals were banned all over the world.

Dr. Mario won Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his discoveries.
