On 24 May, a woman named Kiran Singh filed a petition.

In that petition, she mentioned that a Shivling is situated in Gyanvapi Mosque.

Kiran is a General Secretary of Vishwa Vedic Sanatan Sangh.

She asked for three demands in the petition -

1. Permission to worship the Shivling in the mosque,

2. The entire complex of the mosque should be handed over to the Hindu side,

3. and a complete ban on the entry of Muslims into the Gyanvapi premise.

Not only Kiran Singh but 5 other women also filed petitions for the same as earlier.

The judge hearing this case, Mahendra Pandey, has given the date of 14 November.

But due to the inability to prepare judgment, he shifted the case to 17 November.

And on 17 November, Indian Court accepted the petition while giving judgment.
